About the Role
We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join our team in Italy. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for expanding market penetration for the assigned region and customers in the Pulp & Paper industry in Tuscany.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business development strategies and create development plans for relevant areas to reach required business objectives and revenue.
- Work closely with extended commercial teams to understand business requirements and market needs.
- Sell new business and new applications in the region, developing and implementing sales plans on new opportunities, including documenting ROI and value delivery.
- Establish, maintain, and prioritize an accurate and current sales funnel, managing profitability of the account, reviewing territory applications, and processes/procedures for safety improvements.
- Achieve customer satisfaction, resulting in optimal retention of existing business and growth of new business.
- Maintain and develop customer relations with new and existing customers.
Requirements
- A degree in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or similar area, or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferably some previous experience in Process industry (metals, pulp and paper, mining are preferred).
- Fluent Italian and good English.
- Customer focus – Ability to fulfill customer needs and expectations, must be professional and confident with internal and external customers.
- Delivering Results – Deliver against strategic business KPI's, passionate about success and delivering operational excellence, whilst sharing best practice.
- Ability to make independent decisions, work flexibly, and have a high degree of self-motivation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude.
- Valid driving license – this is a field-based role, and frequent travel will be required.
