Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Head Bartender to join our team at a prestigious establishment within the Italian Hospitality Collection. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional beverage experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a profound passion for wines and spirits, providing expert recommendations to guests.
  • Ensure the precise pouring, mixing, and blending of beverages.
  • Manage cash transactions efficiently.
  • Serve drinks to patrons while coordinating with Food and Beverage Servers.
  • Supervise bar operations to maintain high standards of service and compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
  • Deliver five-star luxury service, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our beverage menu, enhancing guest interactions.
  • Lead the bar team in daily operations, supporting the broader Food and Beverage Management team.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on beverage preparation and service techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Create an inviting atmosphere through exceptional service and ambiance.
  • Ensure accurate processing of all beverage and food orders.
  • Oversee daily bar preparation and closing procedures, including inventory management and cleanliness.
  • Exhibit attentiveness and proactivity in addressing guest needs.
  • Control bar operations during service, managing orders and billing effectively.
  • Mentor new bartenders and bar staff, ensuring adherence to service standards.
  • Assist in stock control and participate in weekly inventory assessments.
  • Uphold guest service standards, ensuring they are consistently met and monitored.

Requirements:

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol as per local regulations.
  • A personal license is preferred.
  • Monitor and ensure completion of bar opening and closing duties by staff.
  • A degree in Hotel Management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Italian is essential.
