Position Overview

The Expert Field Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing educational and promotional initiatives for Haleon’s brands, specifically in the fields of Oral Care and Gynecology. This position involves translating strategic objectives into actionable plans for targeted healthcare professionals, including dentists and gynecologists, while utilizing effective monitoring tools to achieve corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand advocate to implement the brand and category strategy for healthcare professionals.
  • Comprehend and align with Haleon’s delivery framework for healthcare professionals and key external experts, supported by expert marketing training.
  • Implement the territory strategy using segmentation and targeting methodologies, reporting daily outcomes in the CRM system and tracking sales performance.
  • Deliver compelling, science-based narratives to influence recommendations for Haleon products through direct interactions, workshops, and local events.
  • Facilitate the launch of new product development campaigns through direct engagement with healthcare professionals and participation in local events.
  • Engage and manage relationships with key external experts and healthcare associations.
  • Support and participate in relevant local and national conferences, providing educational and training interventions as needed.
  • Organize and oversee training sessions at Dental Schools to engage and educate future dental healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures for customer-facing roles, including compliance with adverse event reporting and scientific engagement.
  • Share best practices and facilitate knowledge transfer among peers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Medicine, Biological Sciences, Chemistry (with a focus on organic or biological), or Pharmacy.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Capacity to cultivate professional and empathetic relationships with healthcare professionals, key external experts, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Team-oriented with a strong affinity for the dental sector.
  • Proficient in technology, including hardware (iPad) and software (MS Office, CRM).
