Job Summary:
Sidel is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our mechanical engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of mechanical modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Responsible for the study phase of parts, sub-assemblies, or full modules, ensuring design accordance to specifications.
- Technical Expertise: Accountable for design according to technical feasibility, assembly, and maintenance of components, with a focus on product design to cost skills, CAD skills, manufacturing know-how, materials property know-how, and structural analysis.
- Quality Assurance: Secure quality of assembly drawings, design models, calculation notes, and functional analysis, and manage non-conformity by RCA approach, defining preventive and corrective actions to implement quality continuous improvements.
- Collaboration: Support the supply chain by providing proper information about modules/industrialization, and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance to Sidel design specifications, design process, and product evolution.
- Process Governance: Respect process for architecture governance, including platform architecture, standardization principles, granular rules, interfaces standardization levels, and modular CAD approaches.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a High school diploma at a Technical Institute as a preferential requirement.
Professional Qualifications and Experience:
Technical expertise in product design to cost skills, CAD skills, manufacturing know-how, materials property know-how, and structural analysis, with a strong background in mechanical engineering.
Language Requirements:
English language proficiency is required.
