Cybersecurity Account Development Director

About the Role:

Focusing on strategic accounts, you will work with your team to identify opportunities, map accounts, and expand key stakeholder relationships to meet your sales targets. This closing role is responsible for the entire sales cycle, including revenue from new customers.

The team comprises experienced sales professionals, each with industry expertise. As a Key Account Director, you will report directly to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the BDR team to identify opportunities,
  • Attending meetings to present Darktrace and discuss Cyber challenges/priorities with strategic scale opportunities,
  • Taking the lead in running projects (POCs) with strategic scale opportunities,
  • Running commercial negotiations,
  • Working closely with Subject Matter Experts to address complicated use-cases,
  • Mapping key accounts and developing strategic relationships with executive stakeholders.

Requirements:

This position requires a proven track record of full-cycle sales success in large-scale cybersecurity deals at a strategic level. The successful candidate will bring experience in closing deals with large enterprise customers and the ability to leverage their network in developing their client base.
