About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager BMS to drive sales of our Building Management Systems (BMS) solutions to industrial clients in Italy.
This role requires a deep understanding of BMS technology, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and marginality targets for BMS solutions in the industrial sector.
- Identify and engage with new potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored BMS solutions.
- Conduct outcome-based product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the benefits of our BMS offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, project management, and customer support, to ensure cross-selling opportunities and positive project delivery.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close sales deals.
- Manage opportunities through relevant JCI systems and in adherence to sales process (including periodic forecast and non-financial reporting to management).
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the Building Management System or industrial automation sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong technical knowledge of BMS solutions and their applications in industrial environments, including traditional automation strategies (HVAC, utilities, lighting, etc.) and outcome-based offerings linked to Sustainability (energy monitoring and management, decarbonization initiatives, equipment performance tracking, predictive maintenance, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- High business acumen and understanding of corporate financial principles.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- English fluency both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel as required.
