About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Managed Service Engineer L2 to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our Network Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless network services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customer's Network Operations team and Network Projects team to guarantee a seamless network service.
- Perform operational tasks to resolve assigned incidents and requests in a timely manner.
- Capture all required and relevant information for immediate resolution.
- Escalate all tickets to seek the right focus and resolution.
- Communicate with other teams for extending support.
- Update tickets with resolution tasks performed.
- Execute changes with clear identification of risks and mitigations.
- Execute approved maintenance activities.
- Monitor client infrastructure.
- Analyze incidents and requests for quality and recommend improvements.
- Produce trend analysis tickets reports.
Requirements
- IT educational background.
- At least 3 years of experience in Network Operations environment with a medium complex infrastructure.
- Cisco Certification (CCNA). It is a plus to have other certifications from main vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Vmware).
- Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups.
- Able to maintain a positive outlook at work.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Able to work in a virtual and hybrid team.
- Good problem solving approach and analytical thinking.
- Customer oriented.
- Good knowledge of Italian and English (French is a plus).
- Available to travel abroad when required by customer.
- Available to be part of on-duty scheduling plan.
