About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Managed Service Engineer L2 to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our Network Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless network services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and resolve assigned incidents and requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the customer's Network Operations team and Network Projects team.
  • Perform operational tasks to resolve assigned incidents and requests.
  • Escalate tickets to seek the right focus and resolution.
  • Communicate with other teams for extended support.
  • Update tickets with resolution tasks performed.
  • Execute changes with clear identification of risks and mitigations.
  • Execute approved maintenance activities.
  • Monitor client infrastructure.
  • Analyze incidents and requests for quality and recommend improvements.
  • Produce trend analysis tickets reports.

Requirements

  • IT educational background.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Network Operations environment with a medium complex infrastructure.
  • Cisco Certification (CCNA). It is a plus to have other certifications from main vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Vmware).
  • Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups.
  • Able to maintain a positive outlook at work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Able to work in a virtual and hybrid team.
  • Good problem-solving approach and analytical thinking.
  • Customer-oriented.
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English (French is a plus).
  • Available to travel abroad when required by the customer.
  • Available to be part of on-duty scheduling plan.
