About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Managed Service Engineer L2 to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our Network Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless network services to our clients' entire IT network environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer's Network Operations team and Network Projects team to guarantee network services.
  • Perform operational tasks to resolve incidents and requests in a timely manner.
  • Capture all required information for immediate resolution and escalate tickets as needed.
  • Communicate with other teams for extended support and update tickets with resolution tasks performed.
  • Execute changes with clear identification of risks and mitigations, and monitor client infrastructure.
  • Analyze incidents and requests for quality and recommend improvements, and produce trend analysis tickets reports.

Requirements

  • IT educational background.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Network Operations environment with a medium complex infrastructure.
  • Cisco Certification (CCNA) and other certifications from main vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Vmware) are a plus.
  • Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups.
  • Able to maintain a positive outlook at work and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Able to work in a virtual and hybrid team and have good problem-solving approach and analytical thinking.
  • Customer-oriented and have good knowledge of Italian and English (French is a plus).
  • Available to travel abroad when required by customer and be part of on-duty scheduling plan.
