Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Account Management Team in Milan for our Advertising business. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, sales and people management skills, and thrive in ambiguous situations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and work with the team to achieve revenue targets and other organizational goals.
  2. Dive deep into client needs, gather their feedback, and identify solutions to improve their advertising experience with Amazon Advertising.
  3. Develop the team's sales skills, business acumen, and ability to generate innovative and challenging insights.
  4. Engage with clients to support the team during negotiations and represent business results to Amazon Advertising's leadership team.
  5. Hire and develop a world-class team, conduct resource management, capacity planning, and account allocation.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or relevant working experience.
  2. 6+ years of experience in digital advertising or client-facing roles, with 2+ years of experience in people management.
  3. Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
  4. High-level analytical abilities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  5. Strong negotiating skills, ability to establish effective cross-team and cross-functional partnerships, and deal with ambiguity.
  6. Demonstrated high attention to detail, proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and superior verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Proven record of attracting, retaining, and growing talents, and advanced level of English and Italian.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Previous people management experience in the industry.
  2. Master's degree.
