About the Role

As a key member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for managing retailers and maintaining long-term relationships with accounts to maximize sales and trade marketing opportunities.

This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of the Italian toy market.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Implement and execute the commercial and sales strategy established by the Sales Director.
  2. Manage centralized clients and retailers at a national or regional level for all products in our portfolio.
  3. Negotiate annual listings, retail catalogues visibility, shelf space for Spring and Fall seasons, and Christmas season, as well as coordinate promotional activities.
  4. Work in synergy with Bandai Namco Entertainment Italian teams to build cross-marketing activities.
  5. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  6. Plan and manage products portfolio, assigned customers, and business development according to the agreed commercial strategy of the company.
  7. Formulate, recommend, and execute the strategic planning and delivery of customer in-store permanent and promotional point of sale programs.
  8. Analyze the toy market and follow up on actual toy lines on the market.
  9. Plan and monitor store-check activities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, within the Italian toy industry is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of channels and customers dynamics to improve the quality of our commercial propositions.
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Presentation, public-speaking, and good communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer-oriented.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Proactive.

Part of the Sales department, you will directly report to the HQ Sales Director based in Lyon HQ, as well as the Italian top management. As you will represent Bandai Toys business in Italy, you will be based in Milan and be in contact with Bandai Namco Entertainment Italy teams on a daily basis (Supply Chain, Finance, Sales Administration, Marketing).
