About the Role:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Revenue Management Director to oversee our operations.

The Revenue Management Director is accountable for translating business analytics into actionable strategies. This position involves formulating and executing pricing strategies, managing inventory, and assessing market trends to optimize revenue growth and profitability. The Revenue Management Director collaborates closely with the Marketing Director to implement and consistently execute effective revenue strategies, facilitating key strategic and operational decisions for the organization.

The Revenue Management Director will lead the Reservations department and demonstrate exceptional skills in building, guiding, mentoring, training, and developing a robust team; ensuring our employees feel valued and receive the highest levels of support and care while fostering a positive workplace for all to deliver outstanding experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Reservations and Revenue Management department.
  • Develop strategic initiatives in advance of the booking window for each revenue-generating area.
  • Own all Revenue Management systems and tools, including RMS, PMS, BI tools, and Benchmarking tools.
  • Manage inventory, pricing, rate parity, and positioning across all distribution channels.
  • Translate business analytics into actionable insights to enhance performance.
  • Conduct pricing strategy analysis and provide recommendations for all room categories and market segments.
  • Monitor and analyze the monthly Commercial Scorecard with a strong focus on improving all KPI areas.
  • Assist with group evaluations, educating the Sales Team on pricing and best practices.
  • Identify current and future business trends to ensure profitability during varying demand periods.
  • Manage the relationship with OTA Market Managers.
  • Create and submit hotel forecasts utilizing the revenue management system, monitoring accuracy regularly.
  • Lead weekly Revenue Strategy meetings, fostering consensus within the Commercial team to advance new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Finance leadership in preparing annual budgets, marketing plans, and sales goals.
  • Work closely with PR & Communication, Marketing, and Reservations teams on promotional campaigns and offers.
  • Participate in the upsell program for the Front Office, updating supplements based on anticipated demand.
  • Establish and manage Published, Package, and Negotiated Rate Strategy Tiers, Segment Ceilings, and incentive plans for Reservations agents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Management.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving financial objectives.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High energy level, exceptional people skills, and enthusiasm for the global hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Expertise in RMS, PMS, Benchmarking, and BI Tools.
  • Familiarity with Sales & Catering systems is advantageous.
