About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Abbott Laboratories in Lombardy. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to customers in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key opinion leaders and decision-makers.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Sales Strategy
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Communication and Presentation
    • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations and pitches.
    • Communicate complex technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Results-Oriented
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and strategies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree or equivalent in Biological Science or related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 5-8 years' industry experience with ideally 5 years of experience in commercial activities.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of the in-vitro diagnostic industry, especially infectious disease.
    • Demonstrated expertise working successfully with KOL and key decision-makers in the region.
    • Familiarity with diagnostic industry; thorough knowledge of healthcare market in the country and territory (both public and private segments).
