About this opportunity
We're seeking an ambitious professional to drive sales and expand our market presence across diverse regions. As Associate Director - Pharmaceuticals Business Development, you'll develop a network of potential partners, generate leads for licensing or acquisitions, and collaborate with regional teams to identify product targets and partners. Your strong organizational skills will help manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional collaborators and management.
About the role
- Network development: Establish relationships with potential partners to explore opportunities for licensing or acquisitions.
- Lead generation: Continuously identify new leads for partnerships and collaborations.
- Segment licensing process: Work with global portfolio and commercial teams to identify product targets, partner leads, and develop cases.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with integrated supply chain, R&D, regulatory, medical, finance, and legal teams to complete due diligence assessments and negotiate deals.
- Performance measures: Deliver agreed-upon performance metrics for the region and key countries.
About you
To succeed in this position, you'll need a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in business development/licensing for generic pharmaceuticals. A solid understanding of pharmaceutical development, including regulatory and IP processes, is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial, along with a collaborative mindset and ability to utilize Microsoft O365 and other collaborative tools. Travel may be required up to 30%.
