About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Planning Fulfillment Manager to join our team at ABB E-Mobility. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our global supply chain, ensuring seamless execution of customer orders from order entry to last-mile delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy: Develop and implement overall value chain strategy for chargers and spare parts, defining production locations and driving consistent execution to meet company targets on net working capital, lead time, on-time delivery, and transportation/warehousing costs.
  • Planning: Define the optimal e-mobility operating model to ensure customer delivery satisfaction and proper use of resources, including material and workforce management. Responsible for 18-month supply plans for all production sites, ABB and CMS, factoring in customer demand, sales policy, production load, and inventory.
  • Customer Support: Manage global order handling, serving as an interface between sales/project management and operations. Align with key account strategies and coordinate with planning and manufacturing to provide priorities and manage escalation on short-term production plans.
  • Spare Parts RMA: Oversee the entire spare parts cycle from release to delivery, providing technical support for service cases and maintaining spare parts lists. Responsible for spare parts logistics, making materials available globally for field repairs within agreed last-mile delivery targets.
  • Global Logistics: Define overall logistics setup and footprint for spare parts and chargers, ensuring proper deliveries to customers while minimizing costs. Ensure on-time delivery and quality of shipments.
  • Global Trade Compliance Officer BATM: Responsible for trade compliance, overseeing three global teams for Europe, Asia, and America zones that manage trade compliance assisted by a third-party consultancy.
  • CMS Coordination: Ensure proper use of CMS capability and capacity, developing operational relationships with EMS, managing new line implementation, and operating process interactions. Define, implement, and lead operational rhythms to guarantee production output and respect of KPI targets on OTD, LT, and quality.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in value chain management, particularly in planning, order management, and logistics.
  • Deep understanding of optimizing key functions to drive operational efficiency and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Proven experience as a manager, overseeing and coordinating day-to-day operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring task completion.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a track record of successfully managing teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Experience working in diverse cultural settings and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Familiarity with key IT tools: ERP (SAP), TMS (eyefreight or similar), WMS, Planning (Sedapta or similar).
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, and good knowledge in Italian is preferred.
