We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Field Service & Sales Engineer, with responsibilities spanning various global regions. You will be part of a regional and global organization dedicated to maximizing customer investments by ensuring optimal uptime of Cobot/Robot-based manufacturing systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the Service Sales Engineer for the EMEA region.
  • Effectively liaising with end users, distributors, system integrators, and colleagues within Universal Robots.
  • Managing the assigned Service Sales budget, overseeing order bookings, and executing long-term service contracts to drive revenue. Collaborate with equipment sales to promote point of sales (POS) service offerings and utilize Sales Force for enhanced sales performance.
  • Training and mentoring Service Sales representatives, establishing targets, and supporting the team in achieving objectives through collaboration with customers and distribution partners.
  • Coordinating service delivery in the region alongside Field Service Engineers, Technical Support, remote Service teams, and factory repair centers.
  • Leading business reviews with customers and partners, developing and implementing customized service maintenance agreements (MSA) in collaboration with key channel partners and the equipment sales team.
  • Executing sales strategies utilizing strategic sales tools and processes.

To excel as a Service Sales Engineer at UR, we envision you possessing an associate degree or higher in a technical discipline or Engineering, along with:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the robotics or industrial automation sector.
  • A robust background in automation.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in Service Sales within the automation industry.
  • Valuable field troubleshooting and repair experience (preferred).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial compliance and risk management.
