Job Description

Hitachi Rail is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Digital Transformation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving digital innovation and process optimization across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for digital engineering tools to enable advanced project deliverables.
  • Support the technical implementation of digital engineering across programs, including staff training, design development, stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and digital solutions adoption.
  • Develop and maintain engineering processes to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Project Engineering team to configure and document management activities.
  • Lead the creation and review of relevant procedures to ensure they meet strategic business objectives.
  • Interface with Design Engineering Departments and the ICT Department for hardware/software needs.
  • Design Engineering KPIs analysis and support the design for the implementation and maintenance of all engineering applications and digital solutions.
  • Manage subscriptions and access to departmental portals, including external services for various types of standards and norms catalogues and portals.
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of PTC Windchill products.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of PTC Creo and CATIA software is considered a plus.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Problem-solving capability.
  • Teamwork capability.
  • Ability to plan to achieve priority outcomes and respond flexibly to change.
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar positions is a preferential title.
Education and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical, Management, or Computer Engineering Qualifications/Associate Degree or equivalent technical background.
Language:

Fluent in English, at least B2 level.
