Sales Director for New Hotel Opening

As a Sales Director for our new hotel opening, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, securing business opportunities, and driving incremental business into the hotel through multiple revenue streams.

About the Role

You will be the lead in seeking new business, creating and leading commercial strategies to maximize revenues and upsell. You will contribute to creating a stellar reputation for our hotel, promoting it, building loyalty and interaction, all with the goal of increasing our revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively manage all sales channels, utilize on-property resources, and leverage above-the-property sales engines to deliver results.
  • Analyze budgets, prepare annual budget plans, schedule expenditures, and ensure the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and manage sales teams to meet sales human resource objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new sales opportunities.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and deliver B2C, B2B, and M&E campaigns and relevant sales activities.

What You Bring

You will have a solid understanding of competitors' products and venues, using this as a springboard to establish and adjust our selling strategy alongside the Regional Sales Team & the General Manager. You're a leader, supervising and supporting the Sales team and their development goals.
