About the Role:

This position is responsible for supporting the sales team in various aspects of sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Develop and maintain a robust customer portfolio, identifying new opportunities and improving existing relationships.
  3. Organize and coordinate customer visits for the sales team, ensuring seamless interactions.
  4. Foster strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring the best service for customers.
  5. Manage shipping orders and provide competitive pricing to customers.
  6. Prioritize profit maximization during sales, aiming to collect payments efficiently.
  7. Prepare sales and marketing reports as requested by management.
  8. Regularly schedule and conduct 15+ appointments per week.
  9. Collect customer feedback and assist in resolving issues.
  10. Implement measures to prevent economic damage related to customer interactions.
  11. Comply with Quality Management System requirements and internal procedures.
  12. Participate in department meetings and training sessions.
  13. Ensure adherence to Information Assurance requirements and direct reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales support or telemarketing in a freight forwarding company.
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are an asset.
