Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Account Technology Strategist to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving technology strategy and innovation for our financial industry clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer and Industry Insights
    • Develop and maintain deep understanding of financial industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify business and technology gaps.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technology strategies that meet customer needs.
  • Trusted Advisor
    • Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
    • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities through technology innovation.
  • Technology Strategy Formulation
    • Develop and implement technology roadmaps that align with customer business strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain deep understanding of Microsoft technology and solutions.
  • Technology Sales: Demand Generation and Orchestration
    • Develop and execute demand generation plans to drive technology sales.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize sales opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Differentiated Value Proposition
    • Develop and maintain deep understanding of customer business needs and challenges.
    • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities through technology innovation.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Mapping and Account Planning
    • Develop and maintain deep understanding of customer business needs and challenges.
    • Identify and prioritize technology initiatives that meet customer needs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technology strategies.
  • Education and Thought Leadership
    • Develop and maintain deep understanding of technology trends and innovations.
    • Develop and deliver thought leadership content to customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technology strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Several years of technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Experience in FSI industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven years of experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
  • A few years of experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.
  • Proven years of experience leading technical, support, and/or partner teams.
