Role Overview
The Prysmian Group is seeking an experienced Financial and Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will provide administrative and financial support to our accounting team, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing and verifying journal entries, and managing billing and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with the management of fixed assets, including creation, periodic depreciation, and disposal.
- Support the team with project management and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
- Provide strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or comparable field.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
- IT skills: MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software such as SAP (FI, SD) are considered a plus.
- Fluent in English and other European languages, such as German, French, and Spanish, are highly appreciated.
- Eagerness to learn quickly and take initiative.
