We are in search of a seasoned Regional Sales Executive in Italy who has a genuine enthusiasm for the air charter, aviation, freight forwarding, logistics, or travel industries; thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere, and is keen to learn and progress alongside the distinguished Chapman Freeborn Airchartering team.

Role Objectives

  • To actively discover, target, and secure business prospects for services within the country
  • To optimize business potential by providing customized solutions that align with client requirements while ensuring profitable results for the organization
  • To develop and oversee a client portfolio, proactively generating new business through strategies such as pursuing fresh leads, client referrals, and networking opportunities
  • To enhance awareness of CF GSA and cargo charter offerings to attract new recurring clientele
  • To contribute to the expansion of services across the country in partnership with brokers and the EU leadership team

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for executing Sales Strategies and associated business objectives throughout the country in alignment with the Cargo Sales Manager EU and the Director GSA
  • Collaborating with broker teams to formulate country-specific strategies that align with existing Sales Strategies and maintain relationships with both current and prospective clients, as well as suppliers, to generate additional business
  • Tracking monthly progress against Sales Strategy and reporting bi-monthly to the Cargo Sales Manager EU and the Director GSA, identifying any challenges and providing suitable recommendations
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to broaden business in the country across new and existing markets to achieve business objectives
  • Staying informed about competitor activities to identify business opportunities
  • Working closely with local broker departments by providing them with relevant information and assisting them during the brokering process
  • Visiting potential, new, and existing clients to foster additional business
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key clients and new business leads to maximize business opportunities and enhance client loyalty in an industry where client retention is a continuous effort
  • Driving sales initiatives for all products targeting customers/freight forwarders from both a regional and local perspective
  • Continuously searching for new operators/suppliers (carriers) to establish vital relationships and achieve ongoing growth in active clients

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3-5 Years of relevant experience
  • Based in Italy, Torino/willing to travel to Torino occasionally
  • Fluent in Italian and English with effective operational command
  • Familiarity with the local market
  • Background in the Aviation industry
  • Team player mentality to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong skills in relationship building, account management, and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Able to effectively balance client needs with business objectives
