Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our high-performing regional team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and growing key accounts within your area, leveraging your technical and commercial knowledge to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a commercial bridge between customers and internal business divisions, providing strategic and commercial thinking to drive design wins and revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute plans to grow key accounts, identifying opportunities and developing strategies to address customer needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with FAE teams to drive technology proposals and manage customer relationships up to V-level management.
  • Provide commercial expertise and support to develop Renesas revenues with key customers in Italy, in close cooperation with the Renesas Account team and Distribution Network.
  • Manage distributors and drive projects proactively from demand creation to mass production.
  • Identify new sockets for Renesas by working closely with customers at project design level to achieve design win targets.
  • Create, organize, update, and track opportunities, revenue, and designs.
  • Develop a good understanding of customer products and market, supply, and business requirements, and communicate them clearly at all levels internally and highlight critical product needs.
  • Understand the competition for us within the customers and develop strategies to counter their activity.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to customers and distributors.
  • Be entrepreneurial and take ownership to keep an eye on and drive the business opportunity.
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree. Prior sales experience is beneficial but is not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge about MCU/MPU as well as Analog and Power Management solutions.
  • Strategic and commercial thinking to perform and organize efficient design in plan for target accounts; capable of identifying key projects and recommending possible solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Very good command of Italian and English language, and mobility are key elements required for the job.
