About the Role:

TD SYNNEX is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and having general conversations around solutions and products. Your goal will be to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
  • Engage in active inside selling by using various sources to gain information on customers and maximize call potential and outcomes
  • Manage customer backorders and engage in intelligent project fishing
  • Manage projects end-to-end or hand over to pre-sales for technical requirements
  • Provide, sell, and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions
  • Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service level agreements with customers
  • Attain key performance indicators such as customer engagement
  • Develop partner relationships, including account planning and cross-selling
  • Identify project opportunities and engage with BDMs if specific product or vendor knowledge is required
  • Drive sales of specific products/vendors if specific knowledge is required
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations
  • Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX's CRM system
  • Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Numerate with good attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills
  • Priority management and planning skills
  • Strive to achieve set targets
  • Understand the sales process
  • Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, and CRM
  • IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential
