We're expanding into new markets, driven by people, passion, and diversity. Our team of over 100 Plianteers comes from 25 nationalities, working remotely or in our Berlin headquarters.

We're looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to join us in Italy.

The Role

You'll support Firstmomentum's growth in Italy, building our customer base in this thriving market. You'll collaborate with potential customers, advising them on the benefits of our digital credit card solution, which offers time and cost savings.

As part of our team, you'll work closely with Customer Success, Underwriting, and Product Management colleagues. This role will be based in Berlin, with some travel required for sales and networking events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business and corporate clients in target verticals to find opportunities for our credit card solution.
  • Select creative channels and strategies for customer outreach.
  • Take ownership of customer advocacy, communicating effectively with potential customers and building a strong pipeline.
  • Understand customer needs and problems, asking the right questions and listening to build trust.
  • Advise customers on how our solution can deliver value to them.
  • Drive further expansion across the Italian market, defining local strategy and shaping product offerings for specific needs.
  • Support ongoing projects and process improvements, as well as supporting your portfolio of customers.
Requirements

We're looking for a numbers-driven individual who can drive success in this role. You should thrive when working with customers, being communicative and able to relate to contact persons. Self-improvement and eagerness to receive and give feedback are essential. Experience in sales within eCommerce, SaaS, Marketing, and reselling industries would be an advantage. Proficiency in Italian and English language skills, both written and spoken, is required.
