What does the ETF Division entail?

Since the inception of our first ETFs in Europe in 2017, we have focused on harnessing our expertise to launch a variety of strategies that challenge market norms, particularly in Emerging Markets and Active Fixed Income. This role is pivotal in enhancing our ETF offerings and establishing new client relationships while nurturing existing ones.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior ETF Sales Executive:

  • Act as the representative of our ETF operations in Italy.
  • Formulate the ETF sales strategy for the Italian market, collaborating with local marketing teams to enhance visibility.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships from an ETF perspective, leveraging existing connections and identifying new opportunities.
  • Facilitate meetings with potential clients and oversee the qualification process for prospects.
  • Engage in prospecting by initiating and managing relationships with key intermediaries.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of prospect information and sales activities within the CRM system.
  • Foster strong communication with the Generalist Sales Team and local leadership regarding ETF initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and stay informed about regulatory changes.
  • Encourage collaboration across various teams, including products, sales, marketing, and capital markets.
  • Enhance awareness of our ETF initiatives through internal training and external engagement.
  • Contribute to the product launch pipeline by identifying necessary ETF offerings for the upcoming year.
  • Manage a small ETF team, focusing on their professional development and growth.
  • Engage with media representatives to promote our ETF initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the ETF sector is preferred, with strong client relationships in Italy.
  • CFA or equivalent certification is desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of the Italian market and trends, particularly among Discretionary Managers, Family Offices, and Asset Managers.
  • Proven consultative selling skills and the ability to collaborate with existing sales teams.
  • Solid knowledge of investment management practices.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Management experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong networking abilities and a proactive approach to opportunities.
  • Capable of navigating complex organizational structures and building internal relationships.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated.
  • A collaborative team player who can also take initiative.

Travel may be necessary to engage with various investors and attend seminars.
