About the Role

Nordson Corporation is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales Manager to join our team in Italy. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the West Italy region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in the West Italy region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as our customers' needs and pain points.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and executing sales plans and strategies.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, including sales forecasts and pipeline analysis.
  • Participate in trade shows and other industry events to promote our products and services and build relationships with customers and partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a business-to-business environment, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent Italian and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
