We are Planted Foods AG, a pioneering company in the plant-based meat industry. Our mission is to revolutionize the way people consume meat, making it more sustainable and healthier. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team in Italy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the foodservice industry, with a focus on food chains, wholesalers, and industrial partners. They will be responsible for building and expanding our distribution network in Italy, identifying new customers, and promoting our products through trade exhibitions and conferences.

The successful candidate will be a self-driven, go-getter with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales in the food and beverage industry. They will be energetic, quick-thinking, and solution-oriented, with a passion for working with plant-based meat and food. They will also be a team player, responsible, and independent, with a high level of entrepreneurial spirit.

The role requires fluency in Italian and English, with any additional language being a plus. The ideal candidate will be based in Milan or surrounding areas, with a strong network in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and expand our distribution network in Italy
  2. Identify and cultivate new customers
  3. Promote our products through trade exhibitions and conferences
  4. Organize sales visits to showcase our product range
  5. Develop a promising sales pipeline and expand sales into new geographic areas
  6. Contribute to feedback culture by tracking customer needs and product applications
  7. Ensure our brand's presence on major foodservice communication channels
  8. Monitor and report on sales goals and KPIs

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales in the food and beverage industry
  2. Strong network in the foodservice industry, with a focus on food chains, wholesalers, and industrial partners
  3. Fluency in Italian and English, with any additional language being a plus
  4. Based in Milan or surrounding areas
  5. Enthusiastic about working with plant-based meat and food
  6. Self-driven, go-getter with a high level of entrepreneurial spirit
  7. Team player, responsible, and independent
