About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our industry leading sales team at Ecolab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth in targeted accounts across the heavy industries sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet profit increase goals in existing customer base and competitively-held accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives.
  • Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Ecolab.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry).
  • Italian fluent English (verbal and written).
  • Technical sales or field sales support experience (1 year).
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry).
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
