Job Overview

The District Manager will be responsible for customer relationships and performance in a specific territory, managing a sales force and FTEs to maximize revenue and profitable growth for Abbott. This role requires key decisions around strategy and prioritization of the assigned territory, including KOL management plans and corrective actions for underperforming situations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and extend deep relationships with accounts, customers, and professionals within the medical community.
  • Work closely with the FTE Supervisor to ensure optimal territory technical coverage and provide clinical support for complex procedures.
Requirements

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent, typically five to seven years of sales or clinical support experience with proven influence in a healthcare-related setting, preferably in the medical device industry. Experience in cardiology or cardiac medical devices is preferred. The ideal candidate should have the ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices, familiarity with medical device industry policies and procedures, and strong negotiation and presentation skills.
