Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team in providing exceptional support to our clients and ensuring optimal performance of Applied Materials' equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate with minimal supervision while adhering to established company protocols.
  • Oversee equipment performance and manage the supply of necessary spare parts.
  • Execute and ensure timely preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify hardware problems by leveraging software and process data.
  • Implement upgrades and retrofits on existing equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to maintenance procedures and checklists for both corrective and preventive tasks.
  • Understand and apply appropriate work methodologies in accordance with company and customer quality standards.
  • Proactively address equipment issues and escalations.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with company stakeholders.
  • Participate in both internal and customer-facing meetings.
  • Support management in the operation of site service business within assigned scope.
  • Assist field management in setting and achieving objectives for the designated account.
  • Keep management informed regarding customer perceptions of system performance.
  • Take initiative to prevent and resolve customer-related issues.
  • May lead projects aimed at reducing costs or enhancing uptime.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required by assignments.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Outlook and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Additional skills in advanced software, industrial automation, and problem-solving through software analysis are advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Diploma or University Degree (Required).
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in English (Required).

Work Information:

  • Full-time position.
  • Regular employee status.
  • Travel required approximately 10% of the time.
  • Relocation not applicable.
